Once you're hooked, you cannot simply snap out of it just as easy. You first need to understand why you're depressed and what causes your ill
mood or behavior. You may also consult a doctor for medication which sometimes involve psychotherapy or prescription of anti-depressant pills. But on a personal note, I've always believed that the key to recovery just lies within you. You need to sort it all out, all the stress and sorrow and maybe then you'll be able to find cure to loneliness and grief. It can be frustrating, but it will take time before you can tackle depression down. Just a little faith and there's a chink of hope somewhere, somehow you'll be able to lift your spirits up high.
