Too many people are obsessed with losing weight. They think they are ugly or undesirable without the usual trim and curve of a fit body. But how do you know if you're fat,
fit, or underweight? You don't just assume by looking at the mirror or checking your weight on the scale.
There's a so-called
ideal weight determined through the Body Weight Index or BMI. To learn more about your BMI, just follow these calculations and you'll know if you're over or way under the required weight. First, assess your weight in kilograms, then divide your actual weight by 2.2. Second, convert your height into meters, then divide your height in inches by 0.025. Third, multiply your height twice its number. For example, 160 meters x 160 meters. And finally, to calculate the value of your BMI, divide your weight by squared height. The result equals your real goal in trimming that carbs and fats off your body.
The World Health Organization applies the 18.5 to 24.99 as standard principle for BMI. If you're between those figures, then congratulations because you're on the right health track. But if not, maybe you need to see a doctor to ensure that there is lower health risk. A little discrepancy in these figures will not affect you greatly. But I dare say that it's better to play by health rules so you'll have a real access to stronger stamina and body resistance. While you're young, it's easier to keep that shape, so don't wait anymore when you're all saggy and old.
